Personalize your device with your own custom fonts
#mono_ is a free personalization tool that you can use to change the font style of your device. This app from APKFlash Uploader also allows users to manage all their downloaded fonts from one place so you can easily organize and switch them as you please.
Unlike other font apps like Font Installer, #mono_ doesn’t have too many ready-to-use options that you can simply pick and choose from. You’ll have to import some of your own downloaded and custom-made fonts in case you want more options to personalize your device.
What does it do?
As mentioned before, #mono_ allows you to quickly and easily change your device’s default font into one of your own choosing. You have the ability to choose from a few available options on the app or import your own fonts into the app. Take note, though, that there are only a limited number of available options, with most of them looking very similar to one another, as well.
It’s best to simply add your own fonts into the app so that you can find one that best suits your preferences. The process is incredibly simple, as well. All you have to do is download the font to your device, go to the app, and upload the file you need. Once that’s done, you can choose which font you want to apply to your device.
Another thing to note, though, is that installing the app can be a tedious process. Since the app only comes as an APK file, you will need to grant special permissions in order to run the tool smoothly. This needs to be done as some devices won’t be able to recognize the app’s developer and can flag it as a suspicious app, preventing you from successfully installing it.
Is it worth trying out?
Overall, #mono_’s not exactly the best choice among the available personalization tools available on the market. Not only do you have a limited number of ready-to-use options to choose from, but the lengthy installation process can be a pain to work through. However, for those that prefer using their own unique fonts — such as their own handwriting — it’s a pretty decent option.
